Qualifications:
• Medical degree (MD, PharmD, or equivalent) with specialization in oncology or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in medical affairs, with a strong background in oncology, immunology, or rare diseases.
• Proven track record of successful leadership in medical affairs, particularly within a pharmaceutical or biotech environment.
• Strong understanding of healthcare systems across Africa, including regulatory and market access dynamics.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in French and other African languages is a plus.

Project Description
Our client is seeking a dynamic and experienced Medical Affairs Freelance Expert to join their team.
The company is a France-based platform committed to distributing innovative pharmaceutical products across Africa, with a mission to address critical challenges in accessing life-saving therapies. Their focus is on pioneering treatments for cancer, including targeted therapies and immunotherapies.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide medical leadership and strategic input across all phases of product development and distribution.
• Develop and implement the medical affairs strategy to support the distribution of innovative therapies across Africa.
• Act as the primary point of contact for healthcare professionals, regulatory bodies, and external partners to ensure alignment with medical and ethical standards.
• Drive education and communication initiatives related to the scientific and clinical benefits of company’s product portfolio.
• Work closely with internal teams to ensure clinical excellence, product positioning, and successful market launches.
• Maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape, ensuring up-to-date knowledge of therapeutic advancements and regulatory changes.
