• At least one (1) year of experience in the area of health economics and outcomes research is preferred
• Completion of a fellowship will be counted towards experience
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work individually and within cross-functional teams, as well as with external partners and vendors
• Ability to travel approximately 20-30% of time
• Broad understanding of US reimbursement systems is a plus

Project Description

Remote (US based), 1-year initial contract

The Senior (Sr) Manager US Health Economic and Outcomes Research (US HEOR) is a critical member of an expanding team. Along with a growing pipeline, we are increasing our US HEOR capabilities. The Sr Manager US HEOR is responsible for taking US HEOR research from concept to publication, including project planning, managing vendors, ensuring study quality, and writing/editing scientific content in support of priority client products.

As Sr Manager US HEOR you will help develop and execute HEOR research strategies and tactics, conduct research and help create US HEOR tools that answer key research questions or external stakeholder questions, and help evaluate and communicate product value. You will work with the Director of US HEOR and the Head of US HEOR to ensure scientific rigor in the design and conduct of US HEOR studies and support the effective communication of results to external audiences, including specific payers or healthcare institutions, as per FDA guidelines. As Sr Manager US HEOR you will also work cross-functionally to ensure that US HEOR plans are aligned across the organization, including Medical Affairs, Value & Access, and Global HEOR.

Key Roles and Responsibilities

• Coordinate with the Director of HEOR and cross-functional partners to ensure US HEOR plans are aligned to strategy
• Design, conduct, and publish methodologically rigorous US HEOR studies and projects, in collaboration with internal and external researchers, to understand the real-world clinical and economic impact of client’s products
• Participate in the development of materials, including AMCP dossiers, budget impact models, and value communication materials to support customer engagements
• Assist in training customer-facing teams, such as Field US HEOR, Value and Access, and field medical colleagues, to support customer engagements
• Track budgets and timelines and ensure appropriate processes are followed for internal approval and execution of US HEOR projects
• Comply with all regulatory laws, regulations and policies that govern the conduct of client’s
US staff for communication of Healthcare Economic Information (HCEI) to customers
