Profile Required
– Strong experience within biosimilar companies (ideally from Sandoz, Teva, or similar biosimilar players)
– Strong experience in EU market access roles.
– European or global role background preferred: broad regional knowledge, not country-specific
– Geographic scope: Western and Northern Europe (Big 5, Benelux, Nordics, Austria, Switzerland, Portugal)
– Senior profile: roughly 35-40+ years old in practice, though not a hard rule. A strict minimum of 15 years of relevant experience is required.
– Language: English only required; multilingualism a nice-to-have, not a criterion
– Remote: location irrelevant, fully comfortable with Teams/Zoom

Project Description
Our client is a global pharmaceutical company with the purpose to improve patients’ lives by providing the specialty, hospital, and rare disease medicines they depend on.
Our client is developing a Biosimilar department with ~10 more biosimilars in the pipeline over 6-8 years (2-3 launches expected in the next 1.5-2 years)
Our client is looking for a part-time (estimated 2 days per week) full remote EU Market Access Director with strong experience in Biosimilars companies to start in September 2026.
Key areas of support:
– challenge processes and thinking
– Landscape and competitor assessment
– Overall EU MA&P strategy for biosimilars
– Pricing, tendering, and interpreting market dynamics
– Supply chain planning (ordering volumes vs. write-off vs. stockout risk)
– Budget planning for existing products and upcoming launches
More infos
– Very small global market access team: 3 people, one on maternity leave until October (returning part-time)
– No biosimilar background in the team
– General managers from Fresenius, Sandoz etc. joined recently with biosimilar background, but not market access specifically
– Country-level market access teams also lack biosimilar expertise
